on 2009-03-25 14:29:30 We have 2 Bostons, ages 9 years and 24 months. They are our furbabies and spoiled rotten. We lost the mom and dad to the 9 year old a couple of years ago, one to Cushings Disease and the other to Kidney failure, desite the best of vet care. I am 62 and disabled, my husband is 64 and retired. We are at home with our babies all of the time, We cannot afford the prices wanted for registered dogs. Adoption fees throug most rescue site are out of reach for us. We live in East Central AL, almost in GA. Our first BT, that lived to be 12, was AKC reg. and we payed $250 for him, our newest, we paid $100. for. I know there is a precious one meant for us out there somewhere. If you can help us find another member for our family lease let me know

Comment by stacye greene/stacyegreene@yah on 2009-10-05 15:18:11 I have had 13 Bostons in my life (the only pet I have ever had), and currently have two (Spankye & Lucye)...but my stepdad recently passed away and I am looking for a boston for my mom. I would prefer one already housetrained, as I do not want to burden her even further, but I know she would do whatever she needed to anyway. She keeps my two dogs at "Granmudder's Daycare" during the week, so the new puppy/dog will have playmates. If anyone knows of a dog that might fit into our life, please let me know...I promise it will be spoiled rotten. NE Alabama area..thank you, stacye
