Butch is an old soul who is content to be on his own, but can be found from time to time in a pile wrestling with his partners in crime. He has an old knee injury, so he walks with a twist which helps him tie himself in a knot when he gets excited and starts wagging his tail. He loves to be outside in the sun and prefers to be by himself laying out soaking up the rays, but is equally happy with quiet time in your lap. He loves to sleep on top of the bedcovers at night.  Butch prefers things at a slow pace, and will become a little protective of his space and food when others approach too quickly. Butch would not do well in a home with young children because of this behavior. He is 8 years old, housetrained when given a routine, tests heartworm negative, and is all up to date on his routine vaccinations.
