This beautiful puppy is Lester and he is gorgeous. The pics do not capture just how adorable his face is. It’s guesstimated that Lester is around 1 year old and his first experience in a foster home has been an exciting one for him. His natural curiosity is starting to come out and he’s becoming more comfortable being around people and other dogs. He enjoys playing with other dogs and seems to have a playful nature. Lester has a little bit of brindle coloring on his sides. His fur is very soft, but his skin is dry and flaky. Now that he is indoors and on a good diet, that should improve. Lester is on medication to regulate his thyroid and he has a head tilt, which may be attributed to the thyroid. Further evaluation will be needed upon completion of the medication and if he continues to tilt his head. Lester may not have had much opportunity to walk or run before he was rescued. His back legs are still adjusting to the freedom of walking around. He’s learning to maneuver wood floors, stairs, and crossing doorway thresholds. A loving home will help him build his trust in humans. He’s rehabilitation has been swift so far and the life in him is starting to shine brightly.
